Naturalista: Lydia Forson Shares her Tips for Deep-Conditioning Your Natural Hair

Lydia Forson is one of my favourite Actresses. She is not only an actress but she's also a writer and a producer...and to top it all, she wears her natural hair like me..lol. She took her time to share how to deep-condition your natural hair. This is important because Deep-conditioning simply helps to put back moisture into the hair.

INGREDIENTS: Avocado Oil, Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Amla Oil

STEP 1: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
STEP 2: Part hair into four sections
STEP 3: Apply a generous amount to each section
STEP 4: Cover your hair with a shower cap ( you may tie a scarf to ensure the heat is locked in)
STEP 5: Leave it for some hours or overnight for maximum effect
STEP 6: Wash out the mixture with no shampoo needed
STEP 7: Moisturize and style as desired

There you have it...cheers!

Is this supposed to keep the hair soft at all times?! I think one still needs a leave-in conditioner.
