For the past year or so red lipstick started getting a hue darker every time a celeb donned it on the red carpet, until wearing black (or close to it anyway) lipstick was the coolest thing ever. The way I see it, we could blame this uber cool yet not-so-flattering-on-everyone-beauty-trend on either Rihanna or Azealia Banks. Now, four of our celebs tried this dark lipstick and I honestly don't know how I feel about the looks. How dark will you go?

Rukky Sanda's Dramatic Half-Shaved Hair Makeover

The Nollywood Actress has sported almost every colour and style you could think of and now she's rocking another new look! She took to Instagram a picture of her dramatic half-shaved haircut today.

Rukky's half shaved hair isn’t the only part of her makeover, though. She has also chopped off some of the length of her weave. While I normally would raise an eyebrows at such a dramatic change, I think this shaved hair looks great on her! The key to this look is tons of confidence — and she's definitely got it!

I am pretty sure a lot of us saw how fashion parody trended in 2013 and I'm thinking, will it continue in 2014 or not!.Well, it all started out as a good idea. We see designer logos turned with clever wordplay and imagery, plaster the end result on t-shirts. The results were quickly embraced by celebrities, street style stars, and even some huge fashion designers. Everyone seemed to start wearing Celfie, Bucci or Giraunchy tee. Do you agree it should be knocked off or not?

The tiny trendsetter, who hails from Houston, Texas, breaks down her rockin' faux hawk in four simple steps: 

•  Start with a twist-out. 
•  Pin up both sides.
• Pick your "woots," aka roots.
• Laugh hysterically.

Whether her curls are styled in an updo, adorned with bows or covered up in a turban, it's obvious that Riley loves her hair just the way it is.

Her Mother, photographer Christin Armstrong explained, "The best advice I can give to other parents is to not compare your child's hair to anyone else's. Riley doesn't have loose, springy coils or waist-length tresses, but we'd love it all just the same! Teach them who they are early. Tell them that they're beautiful often. Not just when they're dressed up. Not just when they're hair is combed. Tell them always. Make it hard for anyone to convince them otherwise later."

I bet most of us could barely do this at her age. She's super adorable and fun to watch. Enjoy

The Nigerian Award winning alternative soul singer, Emmanuel Bezhiwa Idaluka aka Bez married his long time girlfriend Bolatito Ladoja, the daughter of the ex governor of Oyo-state over the weekend at the Guiding Light Assembly Church in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi on Saturday (January 4). This is the first celebrity wedding of the year and I pray this union is blessed.
