Rules that inspires my style
I had written this post but for some reason forgot to publish it. Let me quickly share some of the rules I greatly consider when styling myself or anyone else. I would really like you to draw inspiration from these rules too. Enjoy.
Fashion Mistake You Should Avoid
As a lady, you always want to look fabulous. Whether you're just going to the supermarket or to an event, there are some fashion mistakes you should avoid. In order to look your best, you need to know few things about mistakes to avoid in fashion at all costs.
- Falling Fashion
Before you leave the house, jump up and down a few times. Make sure that your outfit remains in place. The worst thing that can happen is your outfit falling out of place. You don’t want to reveal more than you intend to. One of the fashion mistakes you should avoid is wearing something too loose or tight. Make sure that your clothing fits properly.

Photo Of The Day
Your favorite celebrity get to dress up in amazing cloths all the time but sometimes, they come out wacky, trashy and tacky. Well, the "so called" celeb are human and hence, they are bound to have their moments. Anyway, the Nollywood actress, Ini Edo posted her picture on Instagram few hours ago looking all stressed up but managed to give a pose in a black fitted dress.
This dress look cheap to me but I'm not sure about this bag and shoe I see everywhere. Although, she's been posting pictures of expensive bags on Instagram lately, so I would like to think that this Louis Vuitton bag and the Valentino sandals are real. Behold the look:

QUICKIE: Is It Really About The Likes?
I was going through my reading list and saw this article about "likes" on Instagram and decided to share with you. This article is directed to teenagers but for me, it's a MUST for all ladies to read this.
Is it really about the likes?
Is it really about the likes?
Every woman should feel good about themselves. I know that feeling good about one's self can be a struggle, but it is achievable. Figure out what you like about yourself and let it shine. That's what real beauty is all about. The truth is the more you pursue self-esteem, the more your confidence and happiness recedes. Stay True to yourself, Happy Friday!"The answer to most teens is, YES! I am seeing that many of my peers have an unhealthy obsession with how many "likes" their pictures (especially selfies) receive on Instagram. Many of my friends seem to believe that the more likes they get on their picture, the more attractive they are. Many teenage girls will go as far as to delete their photo if it doesn't receive a certain amount of likes in a given time period, and I personally know of many people who if their photo doesn't receive at least fifty likes in twenty minutes they will delete it off Instagram. Girls also have a habit of giving a simple like so much more weight than it deserves, some girls will think that a guy likes her if he just likes her Instagram picture. Now in some cases this may be true, but that is pretty rare that a guy is trying to send you a message with a simple like on your photo. To some people, it may be puzzling that all that most teenage girls worry about are how many people "like" their photo, but the reason they care so much is simple. Teen girls need to feel validated, and with the rise of social media; likes have become a way to measure your self-worth. It is ridiculous to measure who you are as a person based off of how many likes one photo receives. You are so much more than just a photo! As for me, I think that is completely ridiculous. I feel that if you are confident enough in your picture that you want to put it out there for the whole entire world to see on any social media, then you should be confident enough to stand behind your photo regardless of the likes the photo may or may not receive. So many people have created this obsession with being validated on social media whether it is by your follower count, or by your amount of likes, and I think that it needs to end now. A teenage girl is worth so much more than the amount of likes on her Instagram picture, or the amount of followers she has"- Samantha Mayberry

The Golden Girl: Kim Kardashian
The TV reality star Kim Kardashian recently showed off the new mother's impressive post-baby bikini body on the front cover of this week's Us Weekly magazine. And now stepped out in an all-yellow ensemble with a matching bright satin dress and thick peacoat on the red carpet at the 22nd Annual Women in Entertainment breakfast. She paired the look with a small gold clutch and the gold Tom Ford Spring 2012 chain stilettos which she's worn severally in recent times. She pulled this off effortlessly.
Would you step out in an all-matching outfit?
The Great Kinky Hair Affair
If the terms "paraben," "cones," or "sulfate" don't ring a bell, chances are you probably don't have natural hair. As most naturalistas can attest, we've all heard the negative hype about these common hair care ingredients and some of us vowed long ago to steer clear of any products containing them. As a naturalist there are lots of questions to ask an hair expert and that is why you are invited to the Great Kinky Hair Christmas affair on December 21st at the Social Place, Victoria Island, Lagos. Do come!
Celebrity Crush: Labi Olayori
I have a style crush on Labi Olayori. A petite powerhouse, always impeccably dressed--whether in a playful jaunt of mixed prints or luxurious mounds of layers.
Her enviable wardrobe pays homage to some of the most timeless fashion houses, and gives credit to some of the most amazing newcomers; her stylish wares are always enviable, always drool worthy.
Her beauty looks are no less stunning than her wardrobe. she maintains flawless face, always giving a big bold eyelashes for days, and usually with a minimal lip color.
The sartorial theme of Labi Olayori's looks may change, one day embracing a ladylike look, going bohemian glam, or pushing the high fashion envelope the next, but she always 'kills' each one. She's never afraid to play around with trends and have fun with bold colors and wears her chunky necklace as her best accessory.

Pantone 2014 Color of the Year: Radiant Orchid
Have you heard?? Pantone has declared Radiant Orchid its 2014 color of the year. I admittedly have very little purple in my closet other than where it is worked into patterns; so the announcement has made me curious about how I could potentially add more pf the hue to my own wardrobe. I'm eyeing the "official" Radiant Orchid, but other varying shades of the color as well.
I think this blend of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones does, however, speak a great deal of exoticism and enigma. How do you wear yours?

Emerald Christmas Fashion
The holidays are here and now, you will start seeing so many clothes in metallic and jewel tones at almost every store. I’m not complaining though, I happen to love them! They look so luxurious and sophisticated. And then, what's not there to love in glinting ocean tones, freshly cut grass, tropical floral and fauna- yes, I'm obsessed with green. Evoking all thing this season, our friend Emerald is giving our wardrobe a major makeover. You can simply match it with any warm-colored clothes then accessorize with a fine quality costume jewelry and you’re good to go! Crystal beads, luster beads, and fire polished beads offer a luminescence that will harmonize with it. Ready for the holiday parties ahead?
