Confession Of A Shopaholic

I have a problem, and it's called shopping! I am always online shopping (but never purchasing) so I have a lot of "wants". Actually, what I always do is go through the items, add them to my basket, then close the browser afterwards - weird, I know! But anyways, below are the very few items I will love to add to my wish list and probably purchase them when I grow up!-lol.

3.1 Phillip Lim Navy Croc 31 Hour Bag and Sophie Hulme Zip Top Bowler Satchel. I Love these babies!

I am now in desperate want of a high-low dress/skirt.

Stepping into the military zone (the colour that is),  this wedge sneakers is a big trend and a must have.

This is what I call style meets comfort. I'm loving the new ballet flats. My favourite are the cap-toe ones.

What trends are you looking forward to? I am still working on my wardrobe but I am loving coral, pleats, some neon, ballet flats, and floral....okay so that's pretty much everything, but if you have a style blog, I would love to see it! Just leave your site below Please.

The 60s chic

No doubt that new looks are from the past. The 60s Trend is so offering in terms of clothes, looks, styles that I really think has got today’s Fashion Trends to plunge into and learn a few things while wearing them. As a fashionista, feel free to pick one look or item of the 60s shelves and translate it to today's style. Designers like Mary Quant, Courrèges, Pierre Cardin, Rudi Gernreich, Emilio Pucci, Bonnie Cashin, Givenchy, and the House of Biba challenged every tradition of fashion design and created the miniskirt, bold Warhol- and Mondrian-inspired prints, and A-line dresses made of materials like plastic and paper, crop tops, pointed toes, checkerboard and stripes prints, pops of bright colours, and monochromatic outfits… It’s a huge decade with a bit of something for us all.

Midi Skirts :: Must Have or Not

Fashion has a huge hold on me, I can get the-bored-too-soon impulses but when it comes to fashion I’m the exact opposite. Does this make insane? I mean, I do love every piece of clothing and I try to look trendy but skirts?? errrr...Ok, Midi-Skirts are massive this season, I see that it gives the lower body this exaggerated beauty. So, I'm going to be channelling my energy into this fairy-tale look. Whether in toned down hues or bold neon shades, prints or patterns these full shapes make one look like retro dolls in a very modern sophisticated way. It is however funny that one day fashion is praising mini skirts and the next is all about longer hems. Anyway, it's only in fashion, that the old and new or past and present live well side by side with the help of reinvention. Would you trade your mini-skirts for Midi?

Keep your HAT ON!!

Hats, caps, berets are the coolest fashion gimmicks ever! Once upon a time was a mass obsession with the berets. Well, the sporty & grunge head-cover pieces are still in though, But The Hats are really trending. Be sure to rock it all in any colour, texture or print. Now you may be slightly puzzled as to what the hell have hats in common with punk’s ubiquity, but don't worry Its just a way of pushing fashion forward. Here are some photos of our fashion bloggers with their Hats

Michelle Obama's Biggest Fashion Regret

The First Lady of the United State , Michelle Obama is known for her unique style sense. Whether it's a Pricey dress to an affordable outfits, her choices are typically lovely and well-suited for her body type and personality. However, she regretted ever wearing shorts in 2009 on their family vacation to the Grand Canyon.
On Tuesday (19th, November), the first lady was a guest on BET's "106 & Park" and an audience member asked her about her biggest fashion regret. "I am kind of always happy with what I'm wearing, I think," she said. "Sometimes I forget I'm the first lady and I'm running around in shorts. I know the first time we went on a family vacation, I had shorts on getting off of Air Force One and that created a huge stink because people were like, 'She's wearing shorts getting off of Air Force One!' And I thought, 'What? We're on vacation!' It was hot!" She added, "So I've avoided shorts getting off of Air Force one"--aww I think she looked great. This shows how down to earth it. I think she looked great. I do hope we would one day see our first lady in shorts. coughs

She stands out for wearing big chain retailers like H&M, the Gap, and Talbots. Shorts or no shorts, she's a fashion killer and I love her!

Nigerian Artists Stepped In The Military Zone

No shotguns involved. Just pure soldier-combat inspired fashion. As restrictive as a Camo Trend may appear to be, designers have proved us the contrary with an infinite play of colours, patters and cuts, so if green & khaki are not your thing, don't worry Camo comes in any colour as long as the army vibe is in there somewhere. This trend is taking over 2013 street styles, and our celebrities also rocked it

Get in my Closet

I love bright colours!! But I do combine my outfits reasonably. Nobody wants to see a girl dressed up looking like a clown so it's important to play with colours that suits my tone.  If you have been following my blog, you would notice I love jumpsuits, dresses, blazers, pants, leopard prints, Ankara prints but you can never catch me on a mono-strap or pale colours!  I love Shoes with very high heels, I am 5ft 9inch and my shoe inches are always 5.5.
Ok, here is what it looks like.
