 After watching countless Disney cartoons like "Snow White," "Don's Fountain of Youth" and "Pirates of the Caribbean," we grew up believing that there was a real fountain of youth you could drink from, with elixirs that could turn back time- Lol. Well, Skincare brands are trying to convince us that we can drink ourselves younger. These drinkable beauty shots that claim to give you younger-looking skin are LAC Taut Collagen Shots and Fountain The Beauty Molecule. They are blended on the premise that gulping down these anti-aging treatments will get them into the blood stream quicker, as opposed to applying them topically. These potent beauty drinks are quite affordable ($96 and $40, respectively), as they contain collagen (the protein that breaks down as we age and leads to wrinkles) and an ingestible form of hyaluronic acid (a common ingredient found in serums that helps to rejuvenate skin).

Phtos From the Africa's Next Top Model Launch

The long awaited show is here! I am really excited. The show is a franchise format of America’s Next Top Model, a reality television show created by American supermodel Tyra Banks.  The Nigerian supermodel Oluchi will host the show which  will broadcast tomorrow 10th November, 2013 on DSTV’s Africa Magic Entertainment Channel 151 at 18:00 WAT (19:00 CAT/20:00 EAT).
The launch took place yesterday at the Pra​vada Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Work Hard, Play Hard and Harder!!!

Hello again! How is your day coming? well, I am pretty excited the week is finally over. I posted earlier a perfect outfit for a 'casual Friday look' in Ankara. Now, here is a little twist. As much as most of us would want to be modest in our dressing, it is also important to add a little sexiness for an after-work Friday look! However, If your workplace is on the conservative side, start with a blouse and pumps for day, and save the dressy top and go-out heels for the 6 P.M. switch-out. Done! OK, lets scroll down and gaze at my number one fashionista work-play transition.

Style Inspiration : Casual Ankara Friday

Happy Friday everyone! I'm glad the week is almost over. Ok, so when dressing for work, although they may say “Casual Fridays”, they often don’t want you to stray too far from your everyday wear. Here is my style inspiration for a casual Friday in Ankara.

First up, we have an orange jacket with ankara dress that says casual chic. It’s carefree, but yet effortlessly pulled together.

The premium beer brand STAR, launched its first ever limited edition at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The campaign has been on a surge for a couple of weeks on social media with the harshtag #musicinabottle, before the launch.  The Star Music limited edition 60cl bottle comes in a new exciting blue sleeve capturing photos of the city landscape and featuring a special code on the bottle that introduces a television commercial with 2Face Idibia and Wizkid when scanned.

I Die For this Look!!!

I love Kourtney Kardashian's style. She hit the streets of the Big Apple in a $3,950 Saint Laurent Sequined Peter Pan Collar Dress. I totally agree with the rule that if you are going to show legs, cover chest and vice versa.  Her allover sequin dress features a contrast black bow, white poplin peter pan collar and button placket, and short sleeves. I love that she does have pricey pieces ad also affordable clothing, such as H&M, that we can go out and find. She is a ravisher, that's why we lover her.
