The scandal actress, Kerry Washington is on top of her game! The Emmy nominated actress was recently named a Brand Ambassador and Creative Consultant for skincare brand Neutrogena. Kerry now joins her fellow celebrities-Jennifer Garner, Julie Bowen, Gabrielle Union, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts, Diane Lane, and Sandra Echeverria as a face and member of the Neutrogena family. I love Kerry!!! Congrats to her!

Aso-Oke (pronounced ah-shaw-okay) is a kind of fabric that is hand loomed cloth woven by the Yoruba people of south west in Nigeria. Aso-oke was originally called 'aso ilu oke', which means cloth from the country of highlands. It can be worn for special occasions like weddings, birthdays and chieftancy titles. The beauty of Aso-oke comes out well when combined with other fabrics. The truth is, it can be worn by different tribes not necessarily the Yorubas. I for one love the Alaari because Red is a vibrant colour. Red Aso-oke pops out and gives any outfit a radiant tone.

Ok, I love art and I'm a die-hard fan of Olamide's music. For some of you that don't know him, Olamide is one of the most talented rappers in Nigeria. His new Album was scheduled for release on October 14th, but was pushed back for some funny reasons. The Album will now be released on November 7, 2013. Here is his beautiful album artwork. I love him in this Roman Emperor costume. A complete look with a sandal wouldn't have been a bad idea too. Do you like?

 

 

Christian Louboutin reinvents their ‘nude’ shoe collections

In a newly launched collection, Christian Louboutin has released the ‘nude’ shoe in five different variations from a fair blush to a rich chestnut.
They were created to closely match customers’ skin tones and as a result, it will further elongate the legs.
The Parisian Designer said "The shoes are there to give the woman an extra lift, not to take attention away from the legs and what she is wearing.“They disappear like magic and become a fluid extension of her legs, as in a sketch, elongating the silhouette.”
To best decide which ‘nude’ colour fits a customer’s foot best, the shoe maker has created a Louboutin Shades app which will recommend the colour that best suits users based on photos they upload of their foot. Isn't that awesome?
