Happy Wednesday, everyone! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! As for me, I feel great and enjoying the Salah break. Today's outfit is created from the look of the popular Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji. she wore this lovely piece to the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival for the premier of the Half of The Sun. This look I created is a top and a pant worn together with a tiny waist belt. You too can glow in white.

Trend Obsession: Wedge Sneakers
I have been spotting these lovely sneakers online and would love to share it here with you. Although my relationship with sneakers wasn't always as friendly and loving as it is now. I used to have an affair with one Adidas I bought from Germany many years ago..lol. Anyway, today I'm talking on wedge sneakers as they are trendy, comfortable and cute. So, if you are like me still haven't found your perfect pair then you may pick from these ones.

NMA Fashion
The Nigerian Movies awards held last Saturday at the Intercontinental hotel in Lagos. It was indeed a graceful event.
Rita Dominic made heads turn when she stepped out in this lacy Gorgeous dress. She is known for her timeless and elegant style.
Rukky Sanda arrived at the ceremony in a green classic, sophisticated dress, would there be anything she wouldn't wear?
Empress Njamah dazzled in a cut-out yellow dress and Monolisa Chinda wore a one-of-a-kind tie-dye gown. I love the touch of the neon on it. They all look stunning!

How To Pick Your Shirts and Ties
OK guys, it's time for an article on men's shirts and ties! I'm sure most of you are wondering what I know on men's clothing but believe me I know a lot! So, this time I will be focusing on how to combine shirt and ties together, whether it’s for a night out or for the office.
Even though you already know the basics in regard to colour, there are still a few key points that you need to remember when it comes to shirts and ties.
The first is to keep things simple. By this I mean don’t go for anything too loud, messy or busy. Too many loud colours in too many bright shades will just detract from your outfit as a whole and will more than likely cause people to cover their eyes or scrunch their faces up at you.
Stick to having your tie a darker shade than your shirt is. This is a no brainer when it comes to pattern mixing because it makes it so much easier for a beginner. however, feel free to experiment because it is OK to sometimes swap this around every now and then.
A fool proof way of going with a lighter shirt/darker tie combination is to follow the ‘similar colours’ rule. Just make the tie a darker shade of the colour of your shirt. The same applies for a striped or checked tie as well – additionally with a striped tie it’s normally a good idea to make sure the other colour is either complimentary or contrasting.
However, when purchasing you should also bear in mind proportions – remember to keep collars and tie width similar. Spread or semi-spread shirts are complimented well by a slim or skinny tie. A spread collar shirt also leaves a lot of space between the collars and the tie knot so if you prefer this style of shirt, start mastering your Windsor knot so as the space is better filled. There you have it!
Retro Chic
I don't think I would like to live in the 70's, however I do appreciate those years for what they gave to the fashion industry. One of my favourite designers is definitely Vivienne Westwood. I love her sophistication.
Todays outfit is a way to be retro chic with the help of Christian Louboutin platform, a hat and a vintage dress. Hope you like it!

Fashun Choice
As most of us have experienced, choosing an outfit to wear to work on Monday mornings may be difficult and tasking. After hanging out with friends yesterday I noticed they kept groaning, they literarily had no idea on what to wear, so I decided to put up few ideas here...
You may choose a monochrome look or the other one or even create your own look. Hope you like them.

Stripe Evening

My fellow fashionista, Hyfe shares with us her look for the evening. She looks absolutely gorgeous letting her weave down and I think her outfit definitely did the job. Tell me what you think.
Here is her story:
Sometimes it takes me a while to create an interesting outfit but the idea is always in my head. After today's church service, I had to rush out of the house to meet my friends for lunch at my favourite restaurant on the Island knowing traffic could be crazy. It is not easy to dress up in a hurry especially when it is not convenient and I wanted to feel comfortable as possible but sophisticated. So, I just ran through my closet, saw this beautiful stripe shirt that is trending, paired it with a faux leather jeggings and a studded loafers. And, of course I still had a little time to strike a pose for the camera. lol... what can a girl do?
