Retro Chic

I don't think I would like to live in the 70's, however I do appreciate those years for what they gave to the fashion industry. One of my favourite designers is definitely Vivienne Westwood. I love her sophistication.
Todays outfit is a way to be retro chic with the help of Christian Louboutin platform, a hat and a vintage dress. Hope you like it!

Fashun Choice

As most of us have experienced, choosing an outfit to wear to work on Monday mornings may be difficult and tasking. After hanging out with friends yesterday I noticed they kept groaning, they literarily had no idea on what to wear, so I decided to put up few ideas here...
You may choose a monochrome look or the other one or even create your own look. Hope you like them.

Stripe Evening

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/11038591/?claim=6tkygy7yast">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
My fellow fashionista, Hyfe shares with us her look for the evening. She looks absolutely gorgeous letting her weave down and I think her outfit definitely did the job. Tell me what you think.

Here is her story:
Sometimes it takes me a while to create an interesting outfit but the idea is always in my head.  After today's church service, I had to rush out of the house to meet my friends for lunch at my favourite restaurant on the Island knowing traffic could be crazy. It is not easy to dress up in a hurry especially when it is not convenient and  I wanted to feel comfortable as possible but sophisticated. So, I just ran through my closet, saw this beautiful stripe shirt that is trending, paired it with a faux leather jeggings and a studded loafers. And, of course I still had a little time to strike a pose for the camera. lol... what can a girl do?

Kim Kardashian's Flat Tum

Is this real?? I am a mother and I would cringe at the thought of slipping into any form of tight-fitting dress but Kim doesn’t seem to have any qualms about showing off her trim waist and her flat tummy! Kim was spotted two days ago in a navy dress that featured a deep V-neck with a pair of over-the-knee boots.  She also was rocking her new signature staple, a loose-fitting, floor-length coat, this time in navy. She looks great!

Fashuncandy: RiRiHeartsMAC

Diamond Bad gal RiRi has done it again!! She posted a picture on her instagram page looking sooo stunning. I love that Rihanna loves to play around with colours and loves wearing a standout lip. Her earlier collection featured the bright red lipstick called RiRi Woo, which sold out in only 3 hours...she continues to make a statement in the world of fashion and beauty. I cant wait to get her collections.

My Simple Budget-Friendly “New You” Makeover Tips

You want a makeup overhaul? Get this instead: Before you buy a whole new collection, add a few drops of face moisturizer to your foundation to make it last longer. Use a cotton ball to extract and apply the final traces of blush or bronzer; the poufy texture will “grab” those last nuggets while ensuring that it goes on evenly. Think your mascara is empty? The next time you’re at the makeup counter, grab a few extra mascara wands and give them a dunk in your mascara tube. Chances are that your brush is clumped, and these disposable wands will give you a few more applications.

You want cute new going-out clothes? Get this instead: Invest in a few fun statement accessories, like a sparkly bib necklace or colorful cross-body bag. These fun pieces will breathe new life into your old “blah” tops and dresses for less than the cost of replacing those tops all together.

You want a full haircut? Get this instead: A deep conditioning treatment. it’s one of the best things you can do for your mane. The conditioner will reduce split ends, making your hair look fresh even between cuts.

My love for 'Owanbe'

For most people that know me, I am an Owanbe freak! LOL. 'Owanbe' originated out of the Yoruba culture of celebrating accomplishments and memorable events, particularly weddings and burial ceremonies. Anyway, I see this new way of knotting wrappers everywhere and decided to try it out. Initially, I wasn't a fan. But as soon as I tried it, I started getting compliments and I fell in looove with it!
I did a bit of research on that style of knotting wrapper and found out its origin is from Niger-delta.

Make it pop!

Ok, I am not one of those girls that matches same colour of shoes with same colour of bags...I like to mix it up a little...make it pop and at the same time sensible. it's really nice to play around with colours but keep it simple though.
